God wanted us as His children to be saved from our sins and be able to gain eternal life. So, He sent His son Jesus down to Earth to save us. But how do we get granted, salvation? What is salvation?

Salvation is the deliverance from sin and its consequences. Where can we find salvation?

Acts 4:12 – Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

As it says in Acts, no one can find salvation from their sins other than in God Himself. It cannot be found through money or good actions. If you believe in Him alone, you can be saved and be eternally free from the ultimate consequence of not being allowed into heaven.

So, how can you gain and maintain being saved?

Romans 10:9-13 – If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

By simply opening your mouth and verbally acknowledging that Jesus is your Savior and believe it in your heart, you will be saved. By practicing your faith and following Jesus, you will be saved. Walking daily in your faith will keep you from going to Hell.

Romans 10:11-13 – As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile —the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from, what has happened in your past, you are saved if you believe in your heart that Jesus is your only Savior.
